Yes, it is a Movement ----- evolved in the minds and hearts of a group of educators and think tank ----- the pioneers of the Ideal Educational Movement.

Educational backwardness among Muslims is a perennial problem of the Muslim community. This, as is obvious, has resulted in unemployment, lack of opportunities and frustration among our youth. The panacea for all these ills and evils of our society is to excel in education and to motivate our youth to enter into competitive world of today with determination, courage and confidence.

These and similar anxieties and ideas have given vent to the launch of this unique MOVEMENT. The objectives of Ideal Educational Movement ( IEM ) are :

• To provide coaching to the talented students to excel in the fields of their choice.
• To introduced them to the competitive world through Government Scholarship Exam.
• In the process, arrest the school dropout rate, and channelize the talents in the right direction to the good of the society and the country at large.

In the year 1993, IEM envisaged a general and regular coaching to cater to the need of talented but poor students from early stage of schooling. It was realised that due to lack of awareness about competitive examinations and careers, the students were simply pursuing academic courses without proper focus on career planning and job market.

In order to achieve aims and objectives of IEM, we started with providing free coaching for Government Scholarship Examination for middle and high school. In view of an over whelming and encouraging response with 100% success rate in Government Scholarship Examinations, we started free coaching centres for Maharashtra Talent Search Examination,  National Talent Search Examination as well as  free Coaching Centres for regular courses of standard  8th , 9th  and  10th  ( S.S.C).

IEM is the only Muslim NGO to have received the permission to register for Maharashtra Talent Search Examination.

Ideal Educational Movement is a registered Charitable Trust, permitted by RBI to receive Foreign Contributions and all donations to IEM are exempted from Income Tax.

We received tremendous response from the parents and our students achieved excellent results in various competitive examinations, over 15,000 students have been coached and guided by IDEAL in past 14 years, which is a milestone in itself. At present, we are coaching and counselling about 3,000 students for various competitive examinations to be held in mid 2008.

IEM has prepared a work book in Urdu for the Government Scholarship Examination for Middle and High School, which has proved very useful to students and teachers and is in great demand all over Maharashtra for which we have received a number of letters of appreciation from academic community.

We are pleased that due to our relentless efforts in this direction, the number of Muslim students participating in the Government Scholarship Examinations, Maharashtra Talent Search and National Talent Search Examinations has increased by many folds.

Since 1993, we have not only catered to the educational needs of thousands of students through Free IDEAL Coaching Centres, now numbering nine, in Mumbai and its suburbs but also created confidence and urge among students for achieving excellence. We are, in turn, richer in our confidence, faith and determination for achievement of excellence and looking forward to new horizons of hope and achievement.

Fourteen dedicated Years – Ten Centres in Mumbai and its suburbs – Thousands of Students – Professional Approach and Quality Management, has earned a lot of trust and success.
